Due to the delicate chemical nature of our 85,000+ analog items, physical master tapes, acetate pressings, and fragile wire sound files, physical handling is restricted.
Certified musicologists, audio conservation engineers, historians, and research grant holders may apply for full-access vault permits. Our research committee reviews academic submissions weekly.
REPRESENTATIVE INTAKE CRITERIA:
- Demonstrated institutional or research framework background.
- Explicit technical research goals or media mapping requirements.
- Compliance with gloves-on protective archival handling protocols.
